Dear Students,

I am so excited that you are in my class. How did a get to lucky to have someone like you in my class? I am so excited for this school year. I cannot wait to get to know you each and everyday.

I have three important rules for my class. First, in this class, we are family. You don't have to be best friends or play with everyone in the class. If you have best friends in other classes, that's okay. In this class, we stick up for each other and we love each other.

Second, it's okay to make mistakes. In this class, we will mess up, and it's okay. If we don't make mistakes, we cannot learn. If we cannot learn, we cannot grow. We will not make fun of people or laugh at people when they mess up.

Third, we will respect each other. Each person is different and that's what makes us special. We all matter and we should never make people feel like they don't. We will care for each other.

I am so excited for this school year. We will learn a lot and we will have fun. Always remember that I am here for you no matter what.
