Letter to Parents/Guardians

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am so excited to have your child in my class. I am excited to watch them learn and grow. Your child's education is the most important thing to me. I am here for your child and will help them be successful.

I believe that family is a valuable asset to a child. You play a crucial role in your child's life and I believe that you and I can help them to succeed. I also believe in encouragement. I never want a child to feel discouraged because they think they cannot do something. I want to encourage your child and show them how special they are. I believe in helping them to be successful, I must find their strengths, and help them where they are weak. Each child has unique talents that they bring to our class, and I believe it makes our class better.

Our classroom is a place where everyone is important. It is a comfortable environment where I want every student to know they have a place. I don't want any student to feel uncomfortable in my class. One of my rules for my classroom is that in this classroom, we are family. My students do not have to be best friends with everyone in the class. In my classroom, we stick up for each other and love each other.

Another thing that I want my students to know is that it is okay to make mistakes. We all mess up. If we don't make mistakes, we don't learn. If we don't learn, we don't grow. I want the students to know that it is okay to make mistakes.

I believe in your child and I am so excited to help them learn. Your child is a blessing. If you ever have any questions, feel free to email me or have a meeting with me.

Sincerely,

Ms. Alicia Minks
